The ‘Acknowledgement of Country’ is recited at formal events to pay respect to Indigenous Australians. But unfortunately, some of us don’t fully understand its significance. For Indigenous Australians, ‘Country’ isn't just a word or a place. It’s a feeling and to really acknowledge Country, we have to travel it. See it. Hear it. Smell it. Taste it. Feel it.
Tasked with inspiring young Australians to travel domestically this summer, our platform encourages you to experience Country. And as half of young Australians believe experiencing indigenous culture is important when travelling domestically, there's never been a better time to experience Country.
